Bobby Irwin’s raw talent of singing, song-writing and engaging the crowd led him to the talent stage of the 93rd Texas State FFA Convention.
In front of over 15,000 attendees, Bobby took the stage with fans screaming his name, and broke the record as the first singer to ever win First Place in the State Talent Competition with the People’s Choice and the Delegates’ Vote.
Bobby said that when he stepped off the stage, all he could do was smile and laugh. The energy from the crowd fueled him, and the support and encouragement he was shown by his family, friends and teachers was unbelievable. He told his teacher, Brant Lee, that he was just so happy that someone cares.
Just like singers Koe Wetzel and Cody Johnson who also won at Texas State FFA Convention, Bobby is hoping that this win will propel his career. He’s looking forward to getting back into the studio, and releasing a new single and an EP with three songs in the summer.
